Description

This is one of the best and coolest photographs I think I've ever taken. Out at the Alligator River Wildlife Refuge in East Lake, North Carolina, you get to drive around and look for wildlife. This is on the main road (Milltail Road) and I'm sitting in my car while taking this picture. In fact, I'm about ten feet from this Great Blue Heron (Ardea herodias) while he was looking for something to munch on. Enjoy!
